SIGAUS recycled 137,000 tons of industrial oil in 2025
SIGAUS has released its 2025 annual report, detailing the recycling of 137,000 tons of used industrial oil. This circular economy initiative prevented the emission of 86,600 tons of CO2.
The organization managed 177,000 collection operations across 66,000 generation points, including workshops and industrial sites. The collection network extended to rural areas, mountain regions, and depopulated territories to ensure universal service.
Through this process, SIGAUS produced new lubricants and BIA fuel. The report notes that manufacturing these products through conventional methods would have required 33 million barrels of oil.
