Sigfrido Ranucci reports attempted intrusion at Rome apartment

Sigfrido Ranucci, a former host of the program Report, has reported an attempted intrusion into an apartment he controls in the Tufello district of Rome. Ranucci alleges that on October 2, a journalist described as an online magazine reporter and a Rai program correspondent attempted to gain access to the property using false identities. He claims the individual attempted to induce a cleaning lady to lie and ring the bells of other residents to facilitate entry, and was seen with an accomplice loitering on a landing.

The Carabinieri have confirmed they have opened an investigation into attempted violation of domicile, collecting witness testimonies and reviewing security camera footage.

Moreno Pisto, director of Mow Mag and a guest on Filorosso, has denied the accusations. Pisto confirmed he visited the building with a videographer to search for Laura Cianfoni but maintains that no intrusion occurred. He stated they entered the courtyard and that after a cleaning lady was unable to assist in finding Cianfoni, they left the premises.
