Sighetu Marmației hosts Sighet Run 700 for community projects

More than 170 participants took part in the Sighet Run 700, an event held in the Grădina Morii and Dealul Solovan area. The competition coincided with the 700th anniversary of the documented attestation of Sighetu Marmației.

Beyond the athletic competition, the event aimed to support two local initiatives: the restoration of the Belvedere Tower on Dealul Solovan and support for the Tech-X robotics club. The event brought together runners, volunteers, and sponsors to support both the city's historical memory and its technological future.
