Sigma Advanced Systems secures £125m Rolls-Royce contract
Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a £125 million long-term contract with Rolls-Royce through its recently acquired UK subsidiary, Bromford Precision Solutions. This new agreement builds upon a previous £300 million contract, bringing the total value of the two agreements to approximately £425 million.
Under the terms of the contract, Bromford will manufacture critical aero-engine components, including rings, casings, lock plates, and other engine structures. Production will be distributed across Sigma’s manufacturing facilities in both India and the United Kingdom, providing a dual-source manufacturing solution for Rolls-Royce.
The acquisition of the Leicestershire-based Bromford Precision Solutions in July for approximately £11.89 million has enabled Sigma to expand its product offering and manufacturing capabilities. The deal is expected to secure long-term engineering and manufacturing jobs at the UK site while strengthening Sigma’s position within the Rolls-Royce supply chain.
