Sigma expands wide-angle lens lineup for mirrorless cameras

Sigma has expanded its lineup of high-performance wide-angle prime lenses for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The Sigma 28mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art for Sony E-mount features a weather-resistant, dust- and splash-proof construction. It utilizes two Low Dispersion (FLD) glass elements, three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements, and three aspherical lenses to minimize distortion and chromatic aberration. The lens is driven by a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for improved autofocus speed and tracking.

Additionally, the Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG Art is noted as one of the fastest 14mm lenses available for mirrorless systems, specifically designed for applications such as astrophotography. Available for E-mount and L-mount, the 14mm lens features an 11-blade rounded diaphragm and a wide field of view of 114.2 degrees.
