Sigma film marks directorial debut of Jason Sanjay

The film ‘Sigma’, marking the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, was released on October 2, 2026. Produced by Lyca Productions, the movie features Sandeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in lead roles.

During a press meet, the cast and crew expressed their enthusiasm for the project. Sandeep Kishan noted that the film is an entertaining action movie and praised Lyca Productions for its efforts to elevate Indian cinema. The film's music was composed by Thaman.

Critical reception for the film has been mixed. The plot follows Guru, a man facing financial difficulties who attempts to escape debt through an audiobooks YouTube channel and AI voice initiatives, alongside characters played by Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, and Anbu Dasan. While the film features elements of crime and gangster themes, some reviews suggest the screenplay lacks innovation and follows familiar tropes seen in previous cinema.
