Signal Meridian releases debut single ‘Heartbreaker’

Signal Meridian has released its debut single, ‘Heartbreaker’, on Blue Élan Records. The track is a reimagining of the 1977 song by the British band Strawbs from their album ‘Burning for You’.

Signal Meridian is a collective of session musicians and vocalists assembled by Blue Élan Records co-founder Kirk Pasich. The project aims to reinvent the catalogs of underappreciated progressive rock artists. The single is part of an upcoming album titled ‘Signals in Autumn’, which serves as the first of four planned chapters for the label.

The project draws inspiration from the musical evolution of Strawbs, a group that transitioned from bluegrass to folk-rock and progressive art-rock throughout their career.
