Signature Global India Limited retains CARE A+ stable rating

CareEdge Ratings has reaffirmed a ‘CARE A+; Stable’ rating for Signature Global India Limited (SGIL), covering its existing long-term bank facilities and non-convertible debentures. The rating reflects the company’s extensive experience and a strong receivables base of over Rs 19,600 crore from ongoing projects, which is expected to cover pending construction costs and debt obligations.

As of June 30, 2026, SGIL maintained a liquidity position with Rs 2,522 crore in cash and bank balances, including approximately Rs 1,700 crore in RERA and escrow accounts. These reserves are deemed sufficient to cover estimated debt obligations of over Rs 440 crore due between September 2026 and March 2027.

The developer is planning 170 lakh sq ft of new projects across the Gurugram, Sohna, and Manesar micro-markets, utilizing an existing land bank. Current operations include 45 ongoing projects totaling over 320 lakh sq ft. Strategic diversifications include a luxury housing collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini and a commercial office project in partnership with RMZ Group. Despite these strengths, the rating is constrained by geographic concentration, execution risks in the large development pipeline, and a reliance on customer advances for funding.
