Philips Hue announces new smart home products and Nanoleaf integration

Philips Hue is preparing to expand its smart home ecosystem with several new products and integrations. A key upcoming release is the Philips Hue Wall Light Module, an adapter designed to bring Nanoleaf Shapes panels (including Hexagon, Triangle, and Mini Triangle models) into the Hue app. This allows users to control up to 100 panels through Hue scenes, effects, and automations via Bluetooth or a Hue Bridge.

Another major development is the Philips Hue Play Screen Sync Camera. Unlike the existing HDMI-based Sync Box, this camera mounts atop a television and uses a fisheye lens to capture on-screen content in real time. This enables ambient lighting synchronization for all sources, including built-in smart TV apps and traditional broadcast television, regardless of HDMI versions or resolutions. The camera is expected to be priced around 109.99 euros.

Additionally, leaks suggest the introduction of new outdoor lighting products, including Festavia items and an OmniGlow lightstrip. Meanwhile, retailers like ProShop are currently offering a 20 percent discount on select Philips Hue products when purchasing at least two participating items, a promotion running until September 6.
