Sigtuna boarding school students arrested for suspected sexual assault
Three 18-year-old male students have been arrested following a police operation at the Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket (SSHL) boarding school in Sigtuna, Sweden.
Prosecutors are investigating the suspects for aggravated sexual assault, aggravated unlawful coercion, and assault. The incidents are suspected to have taken place over a three-day period between October 1 and October 3. The victims are reported to be three minors.
Prominent defense attorneys, including Hanna Lindblom and Henrik Olsson Lilja, have been appointed to represent the suspects. Prosecutor Lisa Dos Santos stated that an intensive investigation is ongoing, including upcoming interrogations. A decision regarding detention is expected by Saturday.
