Siheng Song performs solo piano recital at Ohrid Summer Festival

Chinese pianist Siheng Song delivered a solo recital at the Ohrid Summer Festival, held at the Saint Sophia Church. The performance featured a repertoire including works by Debussy, Mozart, Chopin, and Peijun Chen, as well as original compositions by Song himself.

Song, a Shanghai-born virtuoso trained in Paris, is recognized as one of the leading pianists of his generation. His career includes being the first Chinese winner of the Long-Thibaud competition and performing with major orchestras such as the Halle Orchestra and the China Philharmonic. Since 2010, he has worked to modernize classical music by integrating multimedia, theater, and literature into his concert formats.
