Siheung Citizen FC wins 2026 K3 League title

Siheung Citizen FC has secured the 2026 K3 League championship, clinching the title with one round to spare. The team mathematically guaranteed the top spot following a 0-0 draw against Dangjin Citizen FC in their 25th round match, maintaining a seven-point lead over second-place Pocheon Citizen FC.

This marks the club’s second K3 League title, following their first championship in 2024. Siheung becomes only the second team since the league’s 2020 inception to win the title twice, joining Gimhae FC 2008. Under the leadership of manager Lee Seung-hee, the team maintained a dominant position throughout the season, overcoming mid-season challenges such as player transfers and physical fatigue.

The club plans to hold its official championship ceremony following the final match against FC Mokpo. Management credited the success to the stability of the club’s operations and the cohesive performance of the squad.
