Siheung City promotes bio-industry vision at SNU BIO-DAY

Siheung City participated in the 6th Seoul National University BIO-DAY to promote its bio-industry and attract companies to its designated national advanced strategic industry bio special zone.

During the event, the city highlighted the Siheung Bio Cluster, which integrates research, clinical, talent cultivation, and corporate infrastructure. Key components of this cluster include the Seoul National University Siheung Campus, Siheung Baegot Seoul National University Hospital, Chong Kun Dang, the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR), and the Gyeonggi Siheung SNU Pharmaceutical Bio Talent Training Center.

Siheung City officials engaged with Seoul National University researchers, bio-companies, and investment institutions to discuss potential collaborations in joint research, technology transfer, commercialization, and investment. The city aims to build a bio-innovation ecosystem where R&D, clinical trials, talent development, and industry are organically connected.
