Siheung City to host customized training for village activists

Siheung City has announced a recruitment drive for its ‘2026 Customized Training for Village Activists.’ The program is designed to help local activists discover effective, resident-led community projects and strengthen their ability to plan and execute them.

Moving away from traditional theory-based instruction, the training focuses on practical skills, including business idea concretization, team building, and the drafting of formal project proposals. Participants will also receive customized consulting and expert feedback to improve the quality of their community plans.

The training sessions will be held over four days—November 10, 11, 17, and 18—at the Jeongwang Lifelong Learning Center. The city is seeking 30 participants, specifically members of existing village communities or those interested in participating in the 2027 Hope Village projects. Applications are open until November 6.
