Siheung Youth Club Festival attracts 26,000 participants
The 11th Siheung Youth Club Festival, titled ‘MOIM INTERNATIONAL’, concluded successfully with the participation of 584 youth clubs and approximately 26,000 people. Hosted by the Siheung Youth and Young Adult Foundation at Siheung City Hall, the event integrated artificial intelligence (AI) technology and international cultural exchange into its performances and experiential activities.
This year’s festival featured significant international involvement. Participants from the British youth organization Creative Youth and the youth arts group Dillon Dance engaged in cultural and artistic activities with local students. Additionally, representatives from Hachioji, Japan—a sister city of Siheung—attended to observe the youth activities.
Local organizations, including the Siheung Police Station and the Siheung Surfing Association, operated experiential booths, while volunteer groups assisted with safety management. The foundation aims to continue developing the festival into a representative international youth event by focusing on youth leadership, global exchange, and technological integration.
