Tarquinia hosts 20th DiVino Etrusco wine festival
The 20th edition of DiVino Etrusco has launched in Tarquinia, celebrating the historical connection between wine and Etruscan culture. Held at the Palazzo Vitelleschi, the National Archaeological Museum of Tarquinia, the festival features over 50 participating wineries and more than 100 labels for tasting.
This year's event expands its scope to include wines from Sicily, Sardinia, and Calabria alongside traditional selections from the ancient Etruscan Dodecapoli. The program integrates enogastronomy with history and culture, offering guided tastings led by Fisar Tuscia Viterbese sommeliers, live concerts, exhibitions, and cultural meetings. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Tarquinia in collaboration with Pro Loco Tarquinia and enogastronomer Carlo Zucchetti, with support from the Lazio Region.
