Silao and Copiapó host large cultural festivals drawing thousands

In Silao, Mexico, the Teatro del Pueblo was filled with about 16,000 attendees for a concert by Banda Cuisillos despite rain. The band performed its hits and was joined on stage by local rapper Santa Fe Klan for a special rendition of "La Yaquesita." The event was part of a multi‑day celebration featuring other artists and a vehicle raffle.

In Copiapó, Chile, the municipal Pasacalle Multicultural parade attracted more than 3,000 residents. Over 300 musicians and dancers marched through the El Palomar neighborhood, offering free performances and distributing non‑perishable food to families affected by recent floods. Mayor Maglio Cicardini Neyra praised the initiative for fostering community cohesion through culture.
