Silea launches new local police service desk

The municipality of Silea has launched a new local police service desk to improve proximity to the community. Starting September 2, the desk will be open every Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30 at the municipal building on via Don Minzoni 12.

This new weekly service complements the existing district headquarters in San Biagio di Callalta, which serves as the lead municipality for a convention that includes Monastier di Treviso, Zenson di Piave, and Silea. The initiative aims to provide residents with a physical point of reference for information, reports, and requests.

Mayor Angela Trevisin stated that the desk is intended to provide a concrete signal that security and listening to citizens are achieved through the physical presence of institutions. The service is part of a broader effort by the administration to prioritize proximity services.
