The first opportunity to use this system occurs in the Town Square. Beyond serving as a save point, dialing 100 during the initial sequence also triggers an event that leads to the ‘Otherworld’.

Set in a coastal village in Scotland, the game follows Simon Ordell, who awakens in St. Amelia with no memory. Players must navigate the fog-covered town using a portable radio-television to evade creatures while searching for a nurse named Zoe and uncovering the community's tragic history.
