Silent Hill Townfall weapon guide: axe and pistol locations

Players of Silent Hill Townfall can acquire powerful weapons through specific gameplay requirements and locations.

The indestructible axe, the game's most potent melee weapon, is only available after completing a first playthrough and unlocking one of the three endings to start a New Game Plus (NG+). Simon's version of the axe can be found in a small wooden door/storage area in an alleyway during the torch sequence in NG+. Zoe's version is available from the start of her character segment; it is located in the backyard of house 12 at Stewart's residence, next to the shed door.

The first pistol becomes available during Part 2: Zoe, following the events at the Medical Center. After interacting with Dr. Glenn and transitioning back to Simon in the clinic, players should head to the Town Square in St. Amelia. The pistol is found inside 'Richard's Gift,' a package located in a central area of the square. Players are advised to use the pistol sparingly, as gunfire attracts additional enemies.
