Silesian towns host summer outdoor cinema events

On July 10, 2026, the Bytom Cultural Center inaugurated the first screening of its Summer Outdoor Cinema in the city park, showing the Polish comedy 'Dalej Jazda 2' starring Marian Opania. The program, part of the Silesian senior‑support project, will continue with a second showing on July 17 featuring the comedy 'Życie dla początkujących' at a nearby roller‑skating venue.

In Siemianowice Śląskie, a series of open‑air cultural events took place at the Rzęsie park and the municipal amphitheater. The opening film was the classic melodrama 'Uwierz w ducha' with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, followed by a Friday evening concert by the band No Name and a Saturday operetta‑musical concert by artists from the Orpheum Musical Theatre.
