Silicon Valley hotels open pools for day‑guest staycations

A selection of hotels on the Peninsula are allowing non‑overnight guests to use their swimming facilities through day‑pass programs. The Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley offers a rooftop pool with cabanas, umbrellas and a seasonal menu at Roger Bar & Restaurant. The Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View provides a heated outdoor salt‑water pool, fitness centre access and a day‑pass that includes parking for $84. Grand Bay Hotel in Redwood City features a lagoon‑view pool, fire pits and a $22 per‑person pass that also grants Wi‑Fi and towel service. Rosewood Sand Hill’s pool overlooks the Santa Cruz Mountains and serves food and drinks on site. All properties partner with the reservation platform ResortPass, which lets customers book pool access, spa services and other amenities without an overnight stay.
