Siliconware Precision Industries awards scholarships in Changhua

Siliconware Precision Industries and the ASE Group's Sunway Cultural and Educational Foundation have awarded NT$317,500 in scholarships to 79 students in Changhua City for the second semester of the 114 academic year. The recipients include 19 high school and vocational students and 60 university and graduate students.

The foundation has provided scholarship support to low-income students in Changhua for over 15 years. In addition to educational aid, the company supports local cultural and religious activities, including orchestral concerts and community events.

To meet growing demand in AI semiconductor packaging and testing, Siliconware Precision Industries announced plans to recruit approximately 5,800 new employees across Taiwan this year. The company is actively seeking diverse talent, including individuals from non-STEM backgrounds, to fill various roles.
