Silkeborg IF signs Kristian Kirkegaard and Thomas Mikkelsen

Silkeborg IF has completed two significant transfers to bolster its squad. The club has signed 28-year-old Kristian Kirkegaard from Superliga rivals AC Horsens on a four-year contract. Kirkegaard, an offensive player noted for his speed and experience, joins following the sale of Callum McCowatt.

Additionally, Silkeborg IF has signed 43-year-old goalkeeper Thomas Mikkelsen on a free transfer. Mikkelsen, who has nearly 150 Superliga appearances to his name, has signed a short-term contract through the end of the year to support the club's goalkeeping department.
