Silkeborg man arrested after machete attack

A man in his 30s was injured in a machete attack in Silkeborg during the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 02:00 on Lupinvej following a dispute between two men who had been drinking together at a local bar.

According to Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi, the perpetrator went to his apartment to retrieve the weapon before returning to strike the victim in the upper arm. The suspect, a man in his 20s, fled the scene but was later located by police sleeping in his car. He has been arrested and remains in police custody.
