Silleda implements traffic reorganization and new parking zones

The Silleda City Council has begun renewing horizontal road signaling and implementing traffic reorganization measures in the municipal capital. The works, expected to be completed this month, include changing the direction of traffic on Cartaxena and Antón Alonso Ríos streets.

To facilitate quick commerce, seven short-stay parking spaces (maximum 15 minutes) will be established near pharmacies, the post office, a tobacco shop, a pastry shop, and a bakery. Additionally, a blue zone will be implemented on Avenida do Parque as part of humanization efforts. The project also includes a new taxi stand with six spaces, designated areas for people with reduced mobility, and spaces for electric vehicles. New loading and unloading zones will be created near the taxi stand and the commercial gallery.
