Silo and The Last of Us see major production and narrative updates

Developments regarding the upcoming seasons of the television adaptations ‘Silo’ and ‘The Last of Us’ have emerged.

For the Apple TV+ series ‘Silo’, author Hugh Howey has defended narrative changes in the third season. Specifically, the character Donald Keene from the novels has been rewritten as Daniel Keene, played by Ashley Zukerman. Howey stated that this modification, which alters the character's direct involvement in the silo's creation, serves to strengthen the character arc and provides a more compelling narrative path.

Regarding the third season of HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’, production has resumed in Vancouver. Leaked set footage suggests the series may utilize flashbacks to feature characters like Jesse (Young Mazino) and Tommy (Gabriel Luna), despite Jesse's death in the previous season. The upcoming season is expected to shift perspective toward the character Abby to explore events in Seattle.
