Silo series exits Prime Video, becomes Apple TV exclusive

Amazon Prime Video will stop offering the first season of the science‑fiction series Silo on August 13. The limited‑time promotion that let Prime subscribers watch the season at no extra cost ends, and the show will thereafter be available only through an Apple TV+ subscription.

All three seasons of Silo — based on Hugh Howey’s post‑apocalyptic novels and starring Rebecca Ferguson as engineer Juliette — will remain on the Apple TV platform. The move follows Apple’s strategy of using a brief free window on a rival service to promote the series ahead of its third‑season launch.

Viewers who have not finished the first season are urged to binge it before the deadline, after which access will require the paid Apple TV+ service.
