Siloam Hospitals TB Simatupang receives Diamond Excellence Award for neurology

Siloam Hospitals TB Simatupang in Jakarta has received the Diamond Excellence Award for Neurological Services in the 2026 National Hospital Rankings from the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI). It is the only private general hospital in Jakarta to achieve this national recognition.

On an international level, the facility earned the Diamond Status ANGELS Award from the World Stroke Organization (WSO) for the period of Q3 2025 to Q2 2026. This marks the hospital's 12th Diamond achievement since 2022.

As a Stroke Ready Hospital, the facility utilizes an integrated management system with specialized doctors and nurses. Dr. Dina Meliana, a neurology specialist at the hospital, noted that they are able to initiate thrombolysis for eligible patients in less than 60 minutes from arrival, known as the door-to-needle time. This rapid intervention is critical for treating ischemic strokes by dissolving blood clots to reduce the risk of disability.
