Turkish Red Crescent provides wheelchairs to three siblings with osteogenesis imperfecta in Silopi

The Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) Şırnak branch delivered one electric and two manual three‑wheel chairs to three children in Silopi who live with osteogenesis imperfecta, a severe bone disorder.

The aid was funded by charitable donations, notably from the Sevgi Rehabilitation Center. Kızılay Silopi officer Mehmet Adan and his team visited the Ürüm family, assessed their needs, and handed over the wheelchairs during the same visit. The family thanked the donors, saying the equipment will markedly improve the children’s daily mobility. Kızılay affirmed its commitment to continue supporting families with similar needs.
