Silvana Veselinović shares story of adopting daughter with Down syndrome

Silvana Veselinović, a woman who was herself adopted, has shared her experience of adopting Una, a girl with Down syndrome. The two first met in 2012 in Belgrade, and after a period as a foster parent, the adoption became official in 2016.

Una is now 17 years old and has been part of the family for nearly 15 years. Veselinović describes the experience as a source of happiness and states that Una has been fully embraced by her family, school, and community.
