Silver Bow Mining acquires Montana metallurgical complex

Silver Bow Mining has acquired the Jefferson County Metallurgical Complex through an insolvency proceeding in Montana. This strategic move provides the company with a 1,000-ton-per-day flotation plant and existing tailings capacities, allowing the firm to bypass lengthy permitting processes.

The infrastructure is positioned to serve as a processing hub for the Rainbow Block project, located approximately 55 miles away. The Rainbow Block project holds an inferred mineral resource of 170 million silver equivalent ounces. The acquisition involves an initial payment of approximately 28.6 million USD, which is secured by the complex's physical assets, with subsequent payments tied to operational milestones. The facility also possesses expansion potential for a 15,000 t/d mill.
