Silver prices projected to reach $80-$85 by 2026
Silver analyst Peter Krauth predicts that silver prices could reach between $80 and $85 by the end of 2026. Speaking on the Money Metals podcast with host Mike Maharrey, Krauth noted that the metal is currently moderately underpriced, having recently broken through the $50 resistance level that had held for approximately 45 years.
Krauth identifies $50 as the new price floor for silver, barring a major black swan event. He attributes the bullish outlook to silver’s hybrid demand structure, where roughly half of the market is driven by industrial consumption and emerging technologies, while the other half is supported by monetary and investment uses.
Despite several consecutive years of supply deficits, Krauth noted that price increases were previously tempered by large stockpiles accumulated during periods of oversupply. However, depleted exchange inventories and strong demand continue to provide upward pressure on the market.
