Silver prices face resistance as analysts warn against premature bullishness

Silver prices are experiencing volatility as the market tests key resistance levels. While the metal has recovered from recent lows, analysts suggest that a sustained bullish trend remains unconfirmed until the price breaks above the $68 mark. Recent price action saw silver reach a high of $68.11 before retreating to approximately $63.51.

Technical analysis indicates a potential descending wedge pattern, which some traders view as a bullish reversal setup, though a definitive breakout has yet to occur. Buyers have successfully defended the $60 support area, but resistance continues to limit upward movement.

On shorter timeframes, silver has shown a bearish structure from the $67.50 area, characterized by lower highs and lower lows. However, a recent reaction from a demand zone between $63.30 and $63.60 has produced a bullish response, pushing prices back toward the $64.50–$65.00 range. A sustained close above recent local highs is required to strengthen the short-term bullish outlook, while failure to hold current levels could allow the broader bearish structure to regain control.
