Silversea's Silver Ray Launches Luxury Mediterranean Cruise in July 2026

Silversea’s Silver Ray, a 728‑guest luxury cruise ship built in 2024 by Meyer Werft in Germany, belongs to the Evolution class and features an asymmetrical design, eight specialty restaurants and a crew of 556. The vessel uses liquefied natural gas (LNG) propulsion to reduce emissions and was constructed at a cost exceeding €180 million.

The ship will embark on a seven‑day Mediterranean itinerary from 5 July to 12 July 2026, departing Monte Carlo (Monaco) and calling at Toulon (France), Portofino, Livorno, Porto Santo Stefano and Sorrento (Italy) before concluding in Civitavecchia (Rome, Italy). The cruise highlights premium amenities, sustainable technology and panoramic sea views for its passengers.
