Silvestre Dangond and Elena Rose release cross‑border duet “Efectos secundarios”

Colombian vallenato star Silvestre Dangond and Venezuelan pop‑latin singer‑songwriter Elena Rose have issued their first joint recording, the single “Efectos secundarios”. The track blends Dangond’s contemporary vallenato style with Rose’s Latin‑pop sensibility and narrates the excitement of a new romantic relationship. Both artists recorded together for the first time in a studio and shot a colourful music video in Miami, featuring bright lighting, floral décor and natural scenery.

Dangong, a four‑time Latin Grammy winner with more than 6 million monthly Spotify listeners, praised Rose’s talent, saying, “Desde hace mucho tiempo admiro profundamente a Elena…”. Rose called the collaboration “un enorme orgullo” and highlighted the shared belief that music should “acompañar, inspirar y dejar algo bonito en el corazón de quienes nos escuchan”. The release was announced on 31 July 2026 and is being promoted across both artists’ social platforms, underscoring the cultural bridge between Colombia and Venezuela.
