Silvestre Dangond explains reason for radical hair change

Vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond has addressed the reasons behind his recent radical change in appearance. The artist surprised fans in early August when he appeared completely shaved during a performance at the Feria de las Flores Super Concert in Medellín.

In an interview with Jordi Martin for the program ‘El gordo y la flaca’, Dangond explained that the decision was not merely aesthetic but part of a personal process of self-reflection. He stated, “There are moments when it is important to recognize yourself again, because you are looking in the mirror and seeing the same character; and it is important to rethink so that everything has coherence: what you think, what you feel, and what you say.”

While the singer did not provide specific details regarding the personal situation driving this change, his transformation has sparked significant conversation among followers on social media, ranging from support for his spiritual journey to comparisons with other artists.
