Silvi opposition groups unite against Scordella administration

Opposition groups in Silvi have announced a unified effort to build a political and civic alternative to the current administration led by Mayor Andrea Scordella. The coalition includes the Partito Democratico (PD), Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S), and the civic movement Silvi e Basta.

During a press conference, several city councilors expressed firm opposition to the current administration, describing it as a “truncated junta” and criticizing the mayor for what they termed “arrogance.” The opposition members stated that after nearly eight years of the current administration, the city requires a new phase to address unresolved issues, respond to citizen needs, and enhance the territory's potential.

The initiative aims to go beyond a mere collection of political labels for upcoming elections. Instead, the groups intend to launch a participatory process involving citizens, associations, and civic entities to discuss community needs, administrative priorities, and development prospects for Silvi.
