Silvia Abravanel to return to SBT after political campaign

Television presenter Silvia Abravanel has announced her return to the SBT network, specifically to host the program ‘Sábado Animado’. She is expected to return to the air in November following a four-month hiatus.

Abravanel stepped away from her hosting duties in June to pursue a candidacy for federal deputy in São Paulo. Although she received 22,472 votes, she was not elected to the Chamber of Deputies. Despite the electoral defeat, she indicated that she is not abandoning politics entirely, stating that the experience has interested her and that she intends to mature her political views in the future.
