Silvio Gallay requests report on Entre Ríos official ambulance accident

Silvio Gallay, president of the Health Commission of the Chamber of Deputies in Entre Ríos, has requested a formal report regarding an accident involving an official provincial ambulance. The incident occurred on October 11, 2025, at the intersection of Provincial Route 39 and the collector road of National Route 14.

The vehicle involved is a 2011 Fiat Ducato owned by the provincial Ministry of Health and was being used under a loan agreement by the Municipality of Pronunciamiento. At the time of the accident, the vehicle was being driven by a 37-year-old agent.

Gallay emphasized the legislative duty to oversee public assets, noting that the ambulance is a fundamental capital good for public health. He requested transparency regarding the service order that justified the vehicle's use, the administrative authorizations, the designated route, and the personnel assigned to the unit. He also noted that such accidents directly reduce the capacity of local health services by taking essential transport units out of operation.
