Silvânia elderly care home resident resumes cycling

A 73-year-old man, known as “Sr. Ditinho,” has resumed riding a bicycle at an elderly care home in Silvânia, Goiás. Previously living in a state of abandonment, he was moved to the institution in November 2025 following intervention by the Public Ministry.

The facility's administration noted that the activity is part of his previous routine and is supported by staff to promote engagement beyond basic care. The institution operates through volunteer work and relies on donations for maintenance.
