Silvopasture offers benefits for livestock and soil health

Silvopasture is an agricultural practice that integrates trees, forage, and livestock on the same land to combat soil erosion and declining land productivity. According to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), this method can be implemented by introducing pasture into forested areas, planting trees in existing pastures, or establishing both simultaneously on new land.
