Simaima Taufa supports Canberra Raiders during NRLW premiership charge

Canberra Raiders co-captain Simaima Taufa is supporting her team from the sidelines as they pursue a historic NRLW premiership. Taufa is currently serving a three-game suspension following a ban for dangerous contact during a round 10 match against Parramatta.

Fullback Sheridan Gallagher noted that Taufa has maintained team morale through personal outreach, including hosting barbecues and visiting players at their homes to provide encouragement. The Raiders are preparing for a preliminary final against the undefeated Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium.

A victory in the upcoming match would allow Taufa to return to the field for the grand final. While Taufa brings significant experience from previous grand finals and State of Origin appearances, centre Bobbi Law expressed confidence in the squad's ability to face the Roosters without her on the field.
