Police in Malaysia and Indonesia conduct raids against theft and drug trafficking
Police in Malaysia and Indonesia have conducted several operations targeting theft and illegal substances. In Perak, Malaysia, authorities arrested five local men following two separate raids in the Kerian and Hilir Perak districts. Officers seized approximately 196 kilograms of kratom leaves and over 11 liters of kratom water, believed to be intended for distribution. The suspects are being investigated under Section 30(3) of the Poisons Act 1952.
In Indonesia, law enforcement has addressed various criminal activities. In Simalungun, police and citizens apprehended a specialist in burglaries and a motorcycle thief who had fled to Aceh. In Solo, a suspect was caught by residents after attempting to steal a motorcycle from a grocery stall. Additionally, in Tangerang, police conducted operations against illegal street racing in Sukamulya to address public safety concerns and traffic disturbances.
