Simaria announces solo career return with São Paulo concert

Brazilian singer Simaria has announced her return to the stage for a solo career. After a four-year hiatus following the end of her musical duo with her sister, Simone Mendes, the artist will perform a concert and record an audiovisual project at Vibra São Paulo on September 12.

Simaria noted that her time away from the stage allowed her to focus on her mental health and family. The announcement follows several months of subtle indications of a comeback, including the release of a solo version of the song ‘Nega’ in March and increased physical preparation for the demands of touring.
