Simaria returns to stage for solo DVD recording in São Paulo

Brazilian singer Simaria returned to the stage on Saturday in São Paulo to record her first solo DVD, marking her comeback after a four-year hiatus following the end of her musical duo with her sister, Simone Mendes.

The event at Vibra São Paulo saw sold-out tickets and emotional moments from the artist, who noted the importance of the time she spent with her children during her absence. While Simone Mendes was unable to attend the recording in person due to a previously scheduled professional commitment in the United States, she expressed her pride and support for her sister via telephone and social media.

During the performance, host Lucas Guimarães mentioned journalist Leo Dias, prompting fans to chant against him, referencing past legal disputes between Simaria and the journalist. Simaria also made headlines for a gesture of gratitude toward the construction workers renovating her mansion, gifting them tickets to the show.
