Simas Jasaitis renews contract with Orlandina Basket

Orlandina Basket has announced a contract renewal for Lithuanian basketball player Simas Jasaitis. The agreement ensures he will continue playing for the club through the 2026/2027 season.

Jasaitis, who returned to Capo d’Orlando in the summer of 2023, will be entering his fourth consecutive year with the team. He has been a key figure in the club’s recent growth, including winning the Serie B Interregionale championship in the 2023/2024 season and helping the team establish itself at the top of the Serie B Nazionale.

A veteran of international basketball, Jasaitis has previously played for high-profile clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv, Baskonia, and Lokomotiv Kuban. He also earned bronze medals with the Lithuanian national team at the 2007 European Championships and the 2010 World Championships.
