Simba the pit-bull terrier cross seeks forever home
Simba, a four-year-old pit-bull terrier cross, has been waiting for adoption at Bark n’ Fly for more than four months. Originally an owner surrender to the Okanagan Humane Society, Simba has been working through initial behavioral issues with the help of dog rescuer and behaviorist Tracy Barnes.
Simba has learned to walk on a leash, play ball, and interact with other dogs following proper introductions. While described as being great with children, he may not be suitable for homes with cats. Staff have been facilitating overnight stays in homes to help him learn proper domestic behavior. Rescuers suggest he would thrive with an experienced owner who can provide necessary guidance and boundaries.
