Siminina Program connects 330 girls to nature in Cuiabá

The Siminina social inclusion program in Cuiabá has organized nature-based outings for approximately 330 girls from eight different units. These visits take place at the Rancho Família da Nonna, located in the Rio dos Peixes Community region along the MT-251.

Managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance, the program serves over 1,400 children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 who are in situations of social vulnerability. The ranch activities, which include horseback riding, carriage rides, and interaction with farm animals, are designed to complement the program's urban curriculum of ballet, music, and sports. These field trips aim to promote emotional development, social inclusion, and community bonding outside of the standard classroom setting.
