Simón Bolívar nears C15 salonismo championship title

Simón Bolívar is positioned to win the C15 youth salonismo (futsal) championship in the Metropolitan tournament organized by the Paraguayan Football Salón Federation (FPFS). Following a 3-0 victory over Artemios, Bolívar holds a single-table lead with 4 points.

In the final round of the quadrangular, scheduled for Monday at the Fomento stadium, Bolívar needs only a draw against Atenas to secure the title. Atenas and Villeta FC currently follow with 2 points each, while Artemios has been eliminated from contention.

The tournament schedule was accelerated to allow players to focus on preparations for the upcoming world championship in Itapúa.
